As companies grow and prosper they naturally reach plateau points where they must transition the business processes and organization to reach the next level.  Strategic Transitions has the experience combined with Leadership Management’s (LMI) proprietary Strategic Development process to assist in efficiently implementing that transition.  Strategic Transitions will use its 60+ years of experience combined with the LMI process and integrated assessment and development tools to customize a program to meet your company’s requirements. 
Dave Miller Dave Miller is a senior executive with extensive successful P&L experience and a proven track record of profitably managing businesses at premiere companies. With over 35 years of experience in large and small companies he has successfully lead strategic business transitions including: starting businesses, turnarounds, market repositioning, and stimulating growth strategies. Beginning his career with the General Electric Company he went on to manage businesses with Rockwell (Allen Bradley) International, Invensys, and Honeywell intermixed with experience in smaller companies. Dave also has experience in strategic planning, development, restructuring, global marketing, finance management, and sales. He holds an BS in Industrial Engineering from Bradley University.

Mike Konen has over 25 years experience in marketing, business development and sales.  Prior to joining Strategic Transitions, Mike was Director Business Development and Technology for Energya, an International Business Development company specializing in the China market.  Mike held several positions with Honeywell's Industrial Control group including over 10 years of international experience during which he traveled extensively to the Middle East, Europe and Asia.  Previously, Mike worked with Applied Automation of Bartlesville Oklahoma, a provider of process measurement technologies.

Mike holds a Bachelor of Science Degree (Chemical Engineering) from the University of Illinois and Masters of Business Administration Degree from Oklahoma State University.  He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Desert Schools Federal Credit Union and Desert Schools Financial Services (for which he serves as Chairman).  Desert Schools is one of the top 24 credit unions in the country.

Patrick Below is president of a management consulting firm founded in 1970. His firm specializes in working with CEOs of small and medium-sized companies in strategic and operational planning. He is also one of the three principals in the Planning Process Group, a national firm of business planning consultants. He received his B.E.E. degree from Marquette University and his M.B.A. degree from Indiana University.

Patrick’s management experience includes eight years in the areas of manufacturing, sales and marketing, and computer systems with General Electric Company and American Can Company. He has also spent ten years as an international business consultant working with companies in Trinidad.

Patrick has been a LMI Franchisee since 1972. He is coauthor of the Executive Guide to Strategic Planning and the Executive Guide to Operational Planning. He is currently working on a new book.

Paul Brown is the President and CEO of Leadership Dynamics, Inc., a level four leadership development company specializing in helping individuals and organizations to reduce the gap between potential and performance. Paul is the creator of the Leadership Dynamics 10-to-1 R.O.I. System, designed to help clients assess personal and organizational needs, clarify strategic goals, and implement and sustain desired changes resulting in a 10 to 1 or greater return on their investment. The learning technology used is marketed in 60 countries and has positively changed the lives of over 350,000 participants and the productivity of 60,000 companies.

Paul has authored numerous articles on leadership and organizational development and is the publisher of the Leadership Link, a periodical read by over 6,000 CEOs, executives, and managers. Paul has been a LMI Franchisee since 1993 and a student of personal development for the past 30 years. He is recognized by clients and top executives as an innovative leader in his field. He is a frequent speaker to national and international audiences delivering dynamic keynote addresses on topics of success, leadership and organizational excellence. Paul has won many LMI awards, however, he says that his greatest success is his 30 plus year marriage to his wife Lois; his two wonderful daughters, and four beautiful grandchildren.

Paul Hindelang is a manufacturing consultant, quality engineer, and productivity/leadership trainer serving the automotive companies and their suppliers. Prior to starting his LMI Franchise, Results Systems Corporation in 1983, Paul served as a systems engineer for quality and environmental systems and owned a printing company and an awards manufacturing firm.

Paul has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Michigan Technological University and a M.S.A. in Human Resources from Central Michigan University. He is involved in the ESD, ASQ, APICS, and the Troy Chamber of Commerce. Additionally, Paul is an ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, a Certified Quality Auditor, a Certified Mechanical Inspector, a Certified Reliability Engineer, a Certified Quality Manager, Certified Quality Technician and Certified Program Facilitator. He is also APICS certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) and Integrated Resource Management (CIRM), an ISO9000 Lead Auditor (RAB IATCA Sr. Auditor #QI04940), and has been approved for QS-9000 Auditing by the Automotive Industry Action Group.

Alan Hutsinpiller joined LMI in 1990 while he was employed as the District Manager of a Fortune 500 manufacturing company. Alan feels very fortunate to have had the discretionary authority and opportunity to apply the “LMI Process” towards his operation for four years that had a sixty million dollar budget, and had the ability to report and experience first hand the significant measured results.

 

Alan is an Air Force Veteran, who has an engineering background and is a certified Total Quality Manager and Facilitator. Early in Alan’s career, he served as a Union Officer and has sat on both sides during contract negotiations.

 

In 1995, Alan transitioned into being a full-time LMI Franchise Partner on the Central Coast of California. In 1999, Alan moved to the quiet and rural city of Gold Hill, Oregon where his home is nestled on the banks of the scenic Rogue River. Today his business is recognized as LMI of the Rogue Valley. Alan’s goal is to become a million dollar LMI franchise that is an innovative leader in personal and organizational strategic development. 

Jim Moore holds degrees in history, political science, and philosophy from Arkansas universities.  A best-selling author, Jim has written seven books, including two political biographies.  He is best-known for his controversial 1990 work on the Kennedy assassination, Conspiracy of One.  Jim’s literary achievements have earned him mentions in more than 30 other books, and he has logged appearances on nearly every major television and radio talk show in the United States.

Jim was Rookie of the Year in 1984, and joined the home office staff as a development director the following year.  Today, in addition to operating his franchise, he handles communication projects for LMI and is the corporate archivist for the Meyer Family Companies.  Jim has over 20 years experience in the implementation of the LMI Process.

Politically active since age 12, Jim serves his community as City Councilman and Mayor Pro-Tem.  Jim travels frequently to London to pursue his hobby – double-decker British buses.  He owns one of the few ex-London Routemaster buses in the United States.

Allen Raffetto has a Ph.D. in cognitive psychology, with emphasis in cognitive processes, statistics, and pyschometrics. Psychometrics is the branch of psychology that deals with administration and interpretation of quantitive tests for the measurement of psychological variables such as intelligence, aptitude, and personality traits. He is under contract with LMI in addition to running his own LMI assessment business. He is the host / moderator of the Assessments tele-training series, assists in assessments certification and works on special projects with LMI where his background proves valuable. He earned a B.A. in Psychology from Stanford University, a M.A. at San Francisco University, and a Ph.D. at the University of North Dakota . He taught at several universities and was chairman of the Psychology Department at Beloit College. He has over 30 years of business experience emphasizing assessments, cognitive processes and job-related behaviors. Al has been a LMI Franchisee since 1998. He has been a member of the American Psychological Association and Sigma XI, a Scientific Society.

His wife, Nancy, has her Ph.D. in Zoology and holds an academic / staff position in the Zoology Department at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Al and Nancy have been married for over 30 years, have a daughter, Marie, son-in-law Dave and grandson, Dominic. They enjoy many outdoor activities and are spending more time traveling the United States.

Mike Weaver became an LMI Franchisee in 1972 and 4 years later was recognized as the LMI Franchise of the Year. Mike’s organization, Achievement Associates, Inc., is based in 3 locations; Bucks County, Pennsylvania (in the Philadelphia-New York City corridor), St. Louis, and The Carolinas. The firm has served over 400 clients across the United States and in Canada. Well over 80% have been repeat clients.

Mike’s firm has been heavily involved in the use of the entire Teleometrics product line for over 25 years. The firm’s Teleometrics-based work emphasizes an extensive leadership culture change process called "The Achieving Manager Experience".  Mike introduced Teleometrics to LMI in 2001.

Mike holds both engineering and business degrees at the masters level and is a registered professional engineer. He is also a graduate of the Industrial College of the Armed Forces Mike served in the United States Air Force, on active duty and as a reservist, and his career, before entering the training and development field with LMI, included engineering and management positions in aircraft operations, rotary wing flight test, and systems engineering.

Mike is co-founder and charter member of Catalyst, a national organization dedicated to furthering the state-of-the-art in training and development. Mike is included in Who’s Who in The United States and a variety of other reference publications.
